ਦੂਧੁ ਤ ਬਛਰੈ ਥਨਹੁ ਬਿਟਾਰਿਓ ॥

dūdhu ta bachhrai thanhu biṭāriō ॥

दूधु त बछरै थनहु बिटारिओ ॥

The calf has contaminated the milk in the teats.

ਫੂਲੁ ਭਵਰਿ ਜਲੁ ਮੀਨਿ ਬਿਗਾਰਿਓ ॥੧॥

phūlu bhavri jalu mīni bigāriō ॥1॥

फूलु भवरि जलु मीनि बिगारिओ ॥१॥

The bumble bee has contaminated the flower, and the fish the water. ||1||

ਮਾਈ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਹਾ ਲੈ ਚਰਾਵਉ ॥

māī gōbind pūjā kahā lai charāvau ॥

माई गोबिंद पूजा कहा लै चरावउ ॥

O mother, where shall I find any offering for the Lord's worship?

ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਫੂਲੁ ਅਨੂਪੁ ਨ ਪਾਵਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

avru na phūlu anūpu na pāvau ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

अवरु न फूलु अनूपु न पावउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

I cannot find any other flowers worthy of the incomparable Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਮੈਲਾਗਰ ਬੇਰ੍ਹੇ ਹੈ ਭੁਇਅੰਗਾ ॥

mailāgar bērhē hai bhuiaṅgā ॥

मैलागर बेर्हे है भुइअंगा ॥

The snakes encircle the sandalwood trees.

ਬਿਖੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਬਸਹਿ ਇਕ ਸੰਗਾ ॥੨॥

bikhu ammritu bashi ik saṅgā ॥2॥

बिखु अंम्रितु बसहि इक संगा ॥२॥

Poison and nectar dwell there together. ||2||

ਧੂਪ ਦੀਪ ਨਈਬੇਦਹਿ ਬਾਸਾ ॥

dhūp dīp naībēdhi bāsā ॥

धूप दीप नईबेदहि बासा ॥

Even with incense, lamps, offerings of food and fragrant flowers,

ਕੈਸੇ ਪੂਜ ਕਰਹਿ ਤੇਰੀ ਦਾਸਾ ॥੩॥

kaisē pūj karahi tērī dāsā ॥3॥

कैसे पूज करहि तेरी दासा ॥३॥

How are Your slaves to worship You? ||3||

ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਅਰਪਉ ਪੂਜ ਚਰਾਵਉ ॥

tanu manu arpau pūj charāvau ॥

तनु मनु अरपउ पूज चरावउ ॥

I dedicate and offer my body and mind to You.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦਿ ਨਿਰੰਜਨੁ ਪਾਵਉ ॥੪॥

gur parsādi nirñjanu pāvau ॥4॥

गुर परसादि निरंजनु पावउ ॥४॥

By Guru's Grace, I attain the immaculate Lord. ||4||

ਪੂਜਾ ਅਰਚਾ ਆਹਿ ਨ ਤੋਰੀ ॥

pūjā arachā āhi na tōrī ॥

पूजा अरचा आहि न तोरी ॥

I cannot worship You, nor offer You flowers.

ਕਹਿ ਰਵਿਦਾਸ ਕਵਨ ਗਤਿ ਮੋਰੀ ॥੫॥੧॥

kahi ravidās kavan gati mōrī ॥5॥1॥

कहि रविदास कवन गति मोरी ॥५॥१॥

Says Ravi Daas, what shall my condition be hereafter? ||5||1||
