ਦਿਲਹੁ ਮੁਹਬਤਿ ਜਿੰਨ੍‍ ਸੇਈ ਸਚਿਆ ॥

ਆਸਾ ਸੇਖ ਫਰੀਦ ਜੀਉ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ

āsā sēkh pharīd jīu kī bāṇī

आसा सेख फरीद जीउ की बाणी

Aasaa, The Word Of Shaykh Fareed Jee:

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ik-ōṅkār satigur prasādi ॥

ੴ सतिगुर प्रसादि ॥

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਦਿਲਹੁ ਮੁਹਬਤਿ ਜਿੰਨ੍‍ ਸੇਈ ਸਚਿਆ ॥

dilhu muhbati jinn‍ sēī sachiā ॥

दिलहु मुहबति जिंन्‍ सेई सचिआ ॥

They alone are true, whose love for God is deep and heart-felt.

ਜਿਨ੍‍ ਮਨਿ ਹੋਰੁ ਮੁਖਿ ਹੋਰੁ ਸਿ ਕਾਂਢੇ ਕਚਿਆ ॥੧॥

jin‍ mani hōru mukhi hōru si kāṇḍhē kachiā ॥1॥

जिन्‍ मनि होरु मुखि होरु सि कांढे कचिआ ॥१॥

Those who have one thing in their heart, and something else in their mouth, are judged to be false. ||1||

ਰਤੇ ਇਸਕ ਖੁਦਾਇ ਰੰਗਿ ਦੀਦਾਰ ਕੇ ॥

ratē isak khudāi raṅgi dīdār kē ॥

रते इसक खुदाइ रंगि दीदार के ॥

Those who are imbued with love for the Lord, are delighted by His Vision.

ਵਿਸਰਿਆ ਜਿਨ੍‍ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੇ ਭੁਇ ਭਾਰੁ ਥੀਏ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

visariā jin‍ nāmu tē bhui bhāru thīē ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

विसरिआ जिन्‍ नामु ते भुइ भारु थीए ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Those who forget the Naam, the Name of the Lord, are a burden on the earth. ||1||Pause||

ਆਪਿ ਲੀਏ ਲੜਿ ਲਾਇ ਦਰਿ ਦਰਵੇਸ ਸੇ ॥

āpi līē laṛi lāi dari darvēs sē ॥

आपि लीए लड़ि लाइ दरि दरवेस से ॥

Those whom the Lord attaches to the hem of His robe, are the true dervishes at His Door.

ਤਿਨ ਧੰਨੁ ਜਣੇਦੀ ਮਾਉ ਆਏ ਸਫਲੁ ਸੇ ॥੨॥

tin dhannu jaṇēdī māu āē saphlu sē ॥2॥

तिन धंनु जणेदी माउ आए सफलु से ॥२॥

Blessed are the mothers who gave birth to them, and fruitful is their coming into the world. ||2||

ਪਰਵਦਗਾਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਅਗਮ ਬੇਅੰਤ ਤੂ ॥

parvadgār apār agam bēant tū ॥

परवदगार अपार अगम बेअंत तू ॥

O Lord, Sustainer and Cherisher, You are infinite, unfathomable and endless.

ਜਿਨਾ ਪਛਾਤਾ ਸਚੁ ਚੁੰਮਾ ਪੈਰ ਮੂੰ ॥੩॥

jinā pachhātā sachu chummā pair mūṃ ॥3॥

जिना पछाता सचु चुंमा पैर मूं ॥३॥

Those who recognize the True Lord - I kiss their feet. ||3||

ਤੇਰੀ ਪਨਹ ਖੁਦਾਇ ਤੂ ਬਖਸੰਦਗੀ ॥

tērī panah khudāi tū bakhsandgī ॥

तेरी पनह खुदाइ तू बखसंदगी ॥

I seek Your Protection - You are the Forgiving Lord.

ਸੇਖ ਫਰੀਦੈ ਖੈਰੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਬੰਦਗੀ ॥੪॥੧॥

sēkh pharīdai khairu dījai bandgī ॥4॥1॥

सेख फरीदै खैरु दीजै बंदगी ॥४॥१॥
