ਚਲਣੁ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਰਜਾਇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਣਿਆ॥

ਚਲਣੁ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਰਜਾਇ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜਾਣਿਆ॥

chalṇu hukmu rajāi gurmukhi jāṇiā॥

चलणु हुकमु रजाइ गुरमुखि जाणिआ॥

Gurmukhs know well how to move according to the command, hukam of the Lord.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਪੰਥਿ ਚਲਾਇ ਚਲਣੁ ਭਾਣਿਆ॥

gurmukhi panthi chalāi chalṇu bhāṇiā॥

गुरमुखि पंथि चलाइ चलणु भाणिआ॥

Gurmukh has ordained that community (panth), who moves in the will of Lord.

ਸਿਦਕੁ ਸਬੂਰੀ ਪਾਇ ਕਰਿ ਸਕਿਰਾਣਿਆ॥

sidku sabūrī pāi kari sakirāṇiā॥

सिदकु सबूरी पाइ करि सकिराणिआ॥

Becoming contented and true to faith they gratefully thank the Lord.

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇ ਚੋਜ ਵਿਡਾਣਿਆ॥

gurmukhi alkhu lakhāi chōj viḍāṇiā॥

गुरमुखि अलखु लखाइ चोज विडाणिआ॥

Gurmukhs perceive His wondrous sport.

ਵਰਤਣ ਬਾਲ ਸੁਭਾਇ ਆਦਿ ਵਖਾਣਿਆ॥

vartaṇ bāl subhāi ādi vakhāṇiā॥

वरतण बाल सुभाइ आदि वखाणिआ॥

They behave innocently like children and eulogize the primaeval Lord.

ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ਸਚੁ ਸੁਹਾਣਿਆ॥

sādhsaṅgti liv lāi sachu suhāṇiā॥

साधसंगति लिव लाइ सचु सुहाणिआ॥

They merge their consciousness in the holy congregation and truth do they love.

ਜੀਵਨ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਕਰਾਇ ਸਬਦੁ ਸਿਾਣਿਆ॥

jīvan mukti karāi sabdu sāṇiā॥

जीवन मुकति कराइ सबदु सिाणिआ॥

Identifying the word they get liberated and

ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ਆਪੁ ਪਛਾਣਿਆ ॥੧੬॥

gurmukhi āpu gavāi āpu pachhāṇiā ॥16॥

गुरमुखि आपु गवाइ आपु पछाणिआ ॥१६॥

Loosing their sense of ego they perceive their inner selves.
