ਚਾਰੇ ਜੱਗੇ ਚਹੁ ਜੁਗੀ ਪੰਚਾਇਣ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪੇ ਹੋਆ॥

ਚਾਰੇ ਜੱਗੇ ਚਹੁ ਜੁਗੀ ਪੰਚਾਇਣ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਆਪੇ ਹੋਆ॥

chārē jaggē chahu jugī pañchāiṇ prabh āpē hōā॥

चारे जॱगे चहु जुगी पंचाइण प्रभ आपे होआ॥

God himself is the justice for the disputes about the duties of the four Ages.

ਆਪੇ ਪੱਟੀ ਕਲਮ ਆਪ ਆਪੇ ਲਿਖਣਹਾਰਾ ਹੋਆ॥

āpē paṭṭī kalam āp āpē likhaṇhārā hōā॥

आपे पॱटी कलम आप आपे लिखणहारा होआ॥

He himself id the paper, the pen and the scribe.

ਬਾਝ ਗੁਰੂ ਅੰਧੇਰ ਹੈ ਖਹਿ ਖਹਿ ਮਰਦੇ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਧ ਲੋਆ॥

bājh gurū andhēr hai khahi khahi mardē bahu bidh lōā॥

बाझ गुरू अंधेर है खहि खहि मरदे बहु बिध लोआ॥

Without Guru is all darkness and people are killing one another.

ਵਰਤਿਆ ਪਾਪ ਜਗੱਤ੍ਰ ਤੇ ਧਉਲ ਉਡੀਣਾ ਨਿਸਦਿਨ ਰੋਆ॥

vartiā pāp jagattr tē dhaul uḍīṇā nisdin rōā॥

वरतिआ पाप जगॱत्र ते धउल उडीणा निसदिन रोआ॥

The sin pervades all around and the (mythological) ox supporting the earth is weeping and wailing day and night.

ਬਾਝ ਦਇਆ ਬਲ ਹੀਣ ਹੋ ਨਿੱਘਰ ਚਲੇ ਰਸਾਤਲ ਟੋਆ॥

bājh daiā bal hīṇ hō nigghar chalē rasātal ṭōā॥

बाझ दइआ बल हीण हो निॱघर चले रसातल टोआ॥

Without compassion, getting unnerved, it is descending towards nether world to get lost.

ਖੜਾ ਇਕ ਤੇ ਪੈਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਪ ਸੰਗ ਬਹੁ ਭਾਰਾ ਹੋਆ॥

khaṛā ik tē pair tē pāp saṅg bahu bhārā hōā॥

खड़ा इक ते पैर ते पाप संग बहु भारा होआ॥

Standing on one foot, it is feeling the load of sins.

ਥੰਮੇ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਾਧ ਬਿਨ ਸਾਧ ਨ ਦਿੱਸੈ ਜਗ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਆ॥

thammē kōi na sādh bin sādh na dissai jag vic kōā॥

थंमे कोइ न साध बिन साध न दिॱसै जग विच कोआ॥

Now this earth cannot be upheld without the saints and no saint is available in the world.

ਧਰਮ ਧੌਲ ਪੁਕਾਰੈ ਤਲੇ ਖੜੋਆ ॥੨੨॥

dharam dhaul pukārai talē khaṛōā ॥22॥

धरम धौल पुकारै तले खड़ोआ ॥२२॥

Religion in the form of ox is crying beneath.
