ਬੋਲਹੁ ਭਈਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੋ ॥

ੴ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ॥

ਰਾਗੁ ਬਿਲਾਵਲੁ ਮਹਲਾ ੪ ਪੜਤਾਲ ਘਰੁ ੧੩ ॥

rāgu bilāvlu mahlā 4 paṛtāl gharu 13 ॥

रागु बिलावलु महला ४ पड़ताल घरु १३ ॥

Bilaaval, Fourth Mehl, Partaal, Thirteenth House:

ਬੋਲਹੁ ਭਈਆ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨੋ ॥

bōlhu bhaīā rām nāmu patit pāvnō ॥

बोलहु भईआ राम नामु पतित पावनो ॥

O Siblings of Destiny, chant the Name of the Lord, the Purifier of sinners.

ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤ ਭਗਤ ਤਾਰਨੋ ॥

hari sant bhagat tārnō ॥

हरि संत भगत तारनो ॥

The Lord emancipates his Saints and devotees.

ਹਰਿ ਭਰਿਪੁਰੇ ਰਹਿਆ ॥

hari bharipurē rahiā ॥

हरि भरिपुरे रहिआ ॥

The Lord is totally permeating and pervading everywhere;

ਜਲਿ ਥਲੇ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮੁ ॥

jali thalē rām nāmu ॥

जलि थले राम नामु ॥

The Name of the Lord is pervading the water and the land.

ਨਿਤ ਗਾਈਐ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਨੋ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

nit gāīai hari dūkh bisārnō ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

नित गाईऐ हरि दूख बिसारनो ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

So sing continuously of the Lord, the Dispeller of pain. ||1||Pause||

ਹਰਿ ਕੀਆ ਹੈ ਸਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਹਮਾਰਾ ॥

hari kīā hai saphal janmu hamārā ॥

हरि कीआ है सफल जनमु हमारा ॥

The Lord has made my life fruitful and rewarding.

ਹਰਿ ਜਪਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਦੂਖ ਬਿਸਾਰਨਹਾਰਾ ॥

hari japiā hari dūkh bisārnahārā ॥

हरि जपिआ हरि दूख बिसारनहारा ॥

I meditate on the Lord, the Dispeller of pain.

ਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਹੈ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਦਾਤਾ ॥

guru bhēṭiā hai mukti dātā ॥

गुरु भेटिआ है मुकति दाता ॥

I have met the Guru, the Giver of liberation.

ਹਰਿ ਕੀਈ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਸਫਲ ਜਾਤਾ ॥

hari kīī hamārī saphal jātā ॥

हरि कीई हमारी सफल जाता ॥

The Lord has made my life's journey fruitful and rewarding.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤੀ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਨੋ ॥੧॥

mili saṅgatī gun gāvnō ॥1॥

मिलि संगती गुन गावनो ॥१॥

Joining the Sangat, the Holy Congregation, I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||1||

ਮਨ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਕਰਿ ਆਸਾ ॥

man rām nām kari āsā ॥

मन राम नाम करि आसा ॥

O mortal, place your hopes in the Name of the Lord,

ਭਾਉ ਦੂਜਾ ਬਿਨਸਿ ਬਿਨਾਸਾ ॥

bhāu dūjā binsi bināsā ॥

भाउ दूजा बिनसि बिनासा ॥

And your love of duality shall simply vanish.

ਵਿਚਿ ਆਸਾ ਹੋਇ ਨਿਰਾਸੀ ॥

vichi āsā hōi nirāsī ॥

विचि आसा होइ निरासी ॥

One who, in hope, remains unattached to hope,

ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਸੀ ॥

sō janu miliā hari pāsī ॥

सो जनु मिलिआ हरि पासी ॥

Such a humble being meets with his Lord.

ਕੋਈ ਰਾਮ ਨਾਮ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਨੋ ॥

kōī rām nām gun gāvnō ॥

कोई राम नाम गुन गावनो ॥

And one who sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord's Name

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਪਗਿ ਲਾਵਨੋ ॥੨॥੧॥੭॥੪॥੬॥੭॥੧੭॥

janu nānku tisu pagi lāvnō ॥2॥1॥7॥4॥6॥7॥17॥

जनु नानकु तिसु पगि लावनो ॥२॥१॥७॥४॥६॥७॥१७॥

- servant Nanak falls at his feet. ||2||1||7||4||6||7||17||
