ਬਿਨਸੈ ਮੋਹੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥

ਸੋਰਠਿ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ਪੰਚਪਦਾ ॥

sōrṭhi mahlā 5 pañcpadā ॥

सोरठि महला ५ पंचपदा ॥

Sorat'h, Fifth Mehl, Panch-Padas:

ਬਿਨਸੈ ਮੋਹੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਅਰੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥

binsai mōhu mērā aru tērā binsai apnī dhārī ॥1॥

बिनसै मोहु मेरा अरु तेरा बिनसै अपनी धारी ॥१॥

May my emotional attachment, my sense of mine and yours, and my self-conceit be dispelled. ||1||

ਸੰਤਹੁ ਇਹਾ ਬਤਾਵਹੁ ਕਾਰੀ ॥

santhu ihā batāvhu kārī ॥

संतहु इहा बतावहु कारी ॥

O Saints, show me such a way,

ਜਿਤੁ ਹਉਮੈ ਗਰਬੁ ਨਿਵਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jitu haumai garbu nivārī ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

जितु हउमै गरबु निवारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

By which my egotism and pride might be eliminated. ||1||Pause||

ਸਰਬ ਭੂਤ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਿਆ ਹੋਵਾਂ ਸਗਲ ਰੇਨਾਰੀ ॥੨॥

sarab bhūt pārbrahmu kari māniā hōvāṃ sagal rēnārī ॥2॥

सरब भूत पारब्रहमु करि मानिआ होवां सगल रेनारी ॥२॥

I see the Supreme Lord God in all beings, and I am the dust of all. ||2||

ਪੇਖਿਓ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੀਉ ਅਪੁਨੈ ਸੰਗੇ ਚੂਕੈ ਭੀਤਿ ਭ੍ਰਮਾਰੀ ॥੩॥

pēkhiō prabh jīu apunai saṅgē chūkai bhīti bhramārī ॥3॥

पेखिओ प्रभ जीउ अपुनै संगे चूकै भीति भ्रमारी ॥३॥

I see God always with me, and the wall of doubt has been shattered. ||3||

ਅਉਖਧੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਜਲੁ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਗੁਰੂ ਦੁਆਰੀ ॥੪॥

aukhdhu nāmu nirmal jalu ammritu pāīai gurū duārī ॥4॥

अउखधु नामु निरमल जलु अंम्रितु पाईऐ गुरू दुआरी ॥४॥

The medicine of the Naam, and the Immaculate Water of Ambrosial Nectar, are obtained through the Guru's Gate. ||4||

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਤਿਸੁ ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲਿ ਰੋਗ ਬਿਦਾਰੀ ॥੫॥੧੭॥੨੮॥

kahu nānak jisu masatki likhiā tisu gur mili rōg bidārī ॥5॥17॥28॥

कहु नानक जिसु मसतकि लिखिआ तिसु गुर मिलि रोग बिदारी ॥५॥१७॥२८॥

Says Nanak, one who has such pre-ordained destiny inscribed upon his forehead, meets with the Guru, and his diseases are cured. ||5||17||28||
