ਭੇਟਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਆ ॥

Raamkalee, Fifth Mehl:

ਭੇਟਤ ਸੰਗਿ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਆ ॥

bhēṭat saṅgi pārbrahmu chiti āiā ॥

भेटत संगि पारब्रहमु चिति आइआ ॥

Meeting with the Sangat, the Congregation, the Supreme Lord God has come into my consciousness.

ਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਰਤ ਸੰਤੋਖੁ ਮਨਿ ਪਾਇਆ ॥

saṅgti karat santōkhu mani pāiā ॥

संगति करत संतोखु मनि पाइआ ॥

In the Sangat, my mind has found contentment.

ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਨ ਮਾਥਾ ਮੇਰੋ ਪਉਤ ॥

santah charan māthā mērō paut ॥

संतह चरन माथा मेरो पउत ॥

I touch my forehead to the feet of the Saints.

ਅਨਿਕ ਬਾਰ ਸੰਤਹ ਡੰਡਉਤ ॥੧॥

anik bār santah ḍaṇḍaut ॥1॥

अनिक बार संतह डंडउत ॥१॥

Countless times, I humbly bow to the Saints. ||1||

ਇਹੁ ਮਨੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੈ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ॥

ihu manu santan kai balihārī ॥

इहु मनु संतन कै बलिहारी ॥

This mind is a sacrifice to the Saints;

ਜਾ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਗਹੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਖੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧਾਰੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jā kī ōṭ gahī sukhu pāiā rākhē kirpā dhārī ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

जा की ओट गही सुखु पाइआ राखे किरपा धारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Holding tight to their support, I have found peace, and in their mercy, they have protected me. ||1||Pause||

ਸੰਤਹ ਚਰਣ ਧੋਇ ਧੋਇ ਪੀਵਾ ॥

santah charaṇ dhōi dhōi pīvā ॥

संतह चरण धोइ धोइ पीवा ॥

I wash the feet of the Saints, and drink in that water.

ਸੰਤਹ ਦਰਸੁ ਪੇਖਿ ਪੇਖਿ ਜੀਵਾ ॥

santah darsu pēkhi pēkhi jīvā ॥

संतह दरसु पेखि पेखि जीवा ॥

Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Saints' Darshan, I live.

ਸੰਤਹ ਕੀ ਮੇਰੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਸ ॥

santah kī mērai mani ās ॥

संतह की मेरै मनि आस ॥

My mind rests its hopes in the Saints.

ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਰਾਸਿ ॥੨॥

sant hamārī nirmal rāsi ॥2॥

संत हमारी निरमल रासि ॥२॥

The Saints are my immaculate wealth. ||2||

ਸੰਤ ਹਮਾਰਾ ਰਾਖਿਆ ਪੜਦਾ ॥

sant hamārā rākhiā paṛdā ॥

संत हमारा राखिआ पड़दा ॥

The Saints have covered my faults.

ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਕਬਹੂ ਨ ਕੜਦਾ ॥

sant prasādi mōhi kabahū na kaṛdā ॥

संत प्रसादि मोहि कबहू न कड़दा ॥

By the Grace of the Saints, I am no longer tormented.

ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗੁ ਦੀਆ ਕਿਰਪਾਲ ॥

santah saṅgu dīā kirpāl ॥

संतह संगु दीआ किरपाल ॥

The Merciful Lord has blessed me with the Saints' Congregation.

ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਭਏ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੩॥

sant sahāī bhaē daiāl ॥3॥

संत सहाई भए दइआल ॥३॥

The Compassionate Saints have become my help and support. ||3||

ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਬੁਧਿ ਪਰਗਾਸੁ ॥

surti mati budhi pargāsu ॥

सुरति मति बुधि परगासु ॥

My consciousness, intellect and wisdom have been enlightened.

ਗਹਿਰ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਅਪਾਰ ਗੁਣਤਾਸੁ ॥

gahir gambhīr apār guṇtāsu ॥

गहिर गंभीर अपार गुणतासु ॥

The Lord is profound, unfathomable, infinite, the treasure of virtue.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਗਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥

jīa jant saglē pratipāl ॥

जीअ जंत सगले प्रतिपाल ॥

He cherishes all beings and creatures.

ਨਾਨਕ ਸੰਤਹ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਿਹਾਲ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੨੧॥

nānak santah dēkhi nihāl ॥4॥10॥21॥

नानक संतह देखि निहाल ॥४॥१०॥२१॥

Nanak is enraptured, seeing the Saints. ||4||10||21||
