ਬਾਬਾ ਬੋਲੇ ਨਾਥ ਜੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਚ ਮੁਖਹੁ ਅਲਾਈ॥

ਬਾਬਾ ਬੋਲੇ ਨਾਥ ਜੀ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਸਚ ਮੁਖਹੁ ਅਲਾਈ॥

bābā bōlē nāth jī shabad sunhu sac mukhhu alāī॥

बाबा बोले नाथ जी शबद सुनहु सच मुखहु अलाई॥

Baba (further) said, O respected Nath! Please listen to the truth that I utter.

ਬਾਜਹੁ ਸਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਰਾਮਾਤ ਅਸਾਥੇ ਨਾਹੀ॥

bājhu sachē nām dē hōr karāmāt asāthē nāhī॥

बाजहु सचे नाम दे होर करामात असाथे नाही॥

Without the true Name no else miracle I have.

ਬਸਤਰ ਪਹਿਰੋਂ ਅਗਨਿ ਕੇ ਬਰਫ ਹਿਮਾਲੇ ਮੰਦਰ ਛਾਈ॥

bastar pahirōṃ agni kē baraph himālē mandar chhāī॥

बसतर पहिरों अगनि के बरफ हिमाले मंदर छाई॥

I may wear the clothes of fire and build my house in the Himalayas.

ਕਰੋ ਰਸੋਈ ਸਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਗਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਨੱਥ ਚਲਾਈ॥

karō rasōī sār dī saglī dhartī natth chalāī॥

करो रसोई सार दी सगली धरती नॱथ चलाई॥

I may eat the iron and make earth move to my orders.

ਏਵਡ ਕਰੀ ਵਿਥਾਰ ਕਉ ਸਗਲੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਹੱਕੀ ਜਾਈ॥

ēvaḍ karī vithār kau saglī dhartī hakkī jāī॥

एवड करी विथार कउ सगली धरती हॱकी जाई॥

I may expand myself so much that I could push the earth.

ਤੋਲੀਂ ਧਰਤਿ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੁਇ ਪਿਛੇ ਛਾਬੇ ਟੰਕ ਚੜ੍ਹਾਈ॥

tōlīṃ dharti ākāsh dui pichhē chhābē ṭaṅk chaṛhāī॥

तोलीं धरति आकाश दुइ पिछे छाबे टंक चड़्हाई॥

I may weigh the earth and the sky against few grams of weight.

ਏਹ ਬਲ ਰਖਾਂ ਆਪ ਵਿਚ ਜਿਸ ਆਖਾਂ ਤਿਸ ਪਾਰ ਕਰਾਈ॥

ēh bal rakhāṃ āp vic jis ākhāṃ tis pār karāī॥

एह बल रखां आप विच जिस आखां तिस पार कराई॥

I may have so much of power that I push aside anybody by saying.

ਸਤਿਨਾਮ ਬਿਨ ਬਾਦਰ ਛਾਈ ॥੪੩॥

satinām bin bādar chhāī ॥43॥

सतिनाम बिन बादर छाई ॥४३॥

But without the true Name, these all (powers) are momentary like the Shadow of the clouds.
