Soohee, Fifth Mehl:

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਚਨ ਸਾਧ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ॥

ammrit bachan sādh kī bāṇī ॥

अंम्रित बचन साध की बाणी ॥

The Words, the Teachings of the Holy Saints, are Ambrosial Nectar.

ਜੋ ਜੋ ਜਪੈ ਤਿਸ ਕੀ ਗਤਿ ਹੋਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਤ ਰਸਨ ਬਖਾਨੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

jō jō japai tis kī gati hōvai hari hari nāmu nit rasan bakhānī ॥1॥ rahāu ॥

जो जो जपै तिस की गति होवै हरि हरि नामु नित रसन बखानी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

Whoever meditates on the Lord's Name is emancipated; he chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, with his tongue. ||1||Pause||

ਕਲੀ ਕਾਲ ਕੇ ਮਿਟੇ ਕਲੇਸਾ ॥

kalī kāl kē miṭē kalēsā ॥

कली काल के मिटे कलेसा ॥

The pains and sufferings of the Dark Age of Kali Yuga are eradicated,

ਏਕੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਪਰਵੇਸਾ ॥੧॥

ēkō nāmu man mahi parvēsā ॥1॥

एको नामु मन महि परवेसा ॥१॥

When the One Name abides within the mind. ||1||

ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਲਾਈ ॥

sādhū dhūri mukhi masatki lāī ॥

साधू धूरि मुखि मसतकि लाई ॥

I apply the dust of the feet of the Holy to my face and forehead.

ਨਾਨਕ ਉਧਰੇ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥੨॥੩੧॥੩੭॥

nānak udhrē hari gur sarṇāī ॥2॥31॥37॥

नानक उधरे हरि गुर सरणाई ॥२॥३१॥३७॥

Nanak has been saved, in the Sanctuary of the Guru, the Lord. ||2||31||37||
