ਅਮਿਅ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸੁਭ ਕਰੈ ਹਰੈ ਅਘ ਪਾਪ ਸਕਲ ਮਲ ॥

ਅਮਿਅ ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਸੁਭ ਕਰੈ ਹਰੈ ਅਘ ਪਾਪ ਸਕਲ ਮਲ ॥

amia drisṭi subh karai harai agh pāp sakal mal ॥

अमिअ द्रिसटि सुभ करै हरै अघ पाप सकल मल ॥

When You bestow Your Ambrosial Glance of Grace, You eradicate all wickedness, sin and filth.

ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਅਰੁ ਲੋਭ ਮੋਹ ਵਸਿ ਕਰੈ ਸਭੈ ਬਲ ॥

kām krōdh aru lōbh mōh vasi karai sabhai bal ॥

काम क्रोध अरु लोभ मोह वसि करै सभै बल ॥

Sexual desire, anger, greed and emotional attachment - You have overcome all these powerful passions.

ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ਦੁਖੁ ਸੰਸਾਰਹ ਖੋਵੈ ॥

sadā sukhu mani vasai dukhu saṃsārah khōvai ॥

सदा सुखु मनि वसै दुखु संसारह खोवै ॥

Your mind is filled with peace forever; You banish the sufferings of the world.

ਗੁਰੁ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਦਰੀਆਉ ਜਨਮ ਹਮ ਕਾਲਖ ਧੋਵੈ ॥

guru nav nidhi darīāu janam ham kālakh dhōvai ॥

गुरु नव निधि दरीआउ जनम हम कालख धोवै ॥

The Guru is the river of the nine treasures, washing off the dirt of our lives.

ਸੁ ਕਹੁ ਟਲ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵੀਐ ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਭਾਇ ॥

su kahu ṭal guru sēvīai ahinisi sahji subhāi ॥

सु कहु टल गुरु सेवीऐ अहिनिसि सहजि सुभाइ ॥

So speaks TAL the poet: serve the Guru, day and night, with intuitive love and affection.

ਦਰਸਨਿ ਪਰਸਿਐ ਗੁਰੂ ਕੈ ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਦੁਖੁ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੦॥

darsani parsiai gurū kai janam maraṇ dukhu jāi ॥10॥

दरसनि परसिऐ गुरू कै जनम मरण दुखु जाइ ॥१०॥

Gazing upon the Blessed Vision of the Guru, the pains of death and rebirth are taken away. ||10||
