ਆਵਹੁ ਭੈਣੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੀਆ ॥

माझ महला ४ ॥

Maajh, Fourth Mehl:

ਆਵਹੁ ਭੈਣੇ ਤੁਸੀ ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੀਆ ॥

āvhu bhaiṇē tusī milhu piārīā ॥

आवहु भैणे तुसी मिलहु पिआरीआ ॥

Come, dear sisters-let us join together.

ਜੋ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਦਸੇ ਤਿਸ ਕੈ ਹਉ ਵਾਰੀਆ ॥

jō mērā prītmu dasē tis kai hau vārīā ॥

जो मेरा प्रीतमु दसे तिस कै हउ वारीआ ॥

I am a sacrifice to the one who tells me of my Beloved.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਲਧਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਘੁਮਾਈਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੧॥

mili satsaṅgti ladhā hari sajṇu hau satigur viṭhu ghumāīā jīu ॥1॥

मिलि सतसंगति लधा हरि सजणु हउ सतिगुर विटहु घुमाईआ जीउ ॥१॥

Joining the Sat Sangat, the True Congregation, I have found the Lord, my Best Friend. I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||1||

ਜਹ ਜਹ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਹ ਤਹ ਸੁਆਮੀ ॥

jah jah dēkhā tah tah suāmī ॥

जह जह देखा तह तह सुआमी ॥

Wherever I look, there I see my Lord and Master.

ਤੂ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਰਵਿਆ ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ॥

tū ghaṭi ghaṭi raviā antrajāmī ॥

तू घटि घटि रविआ अंतरजामी ॥

You are permeating each and every heart, O Lord, Inner-knower, Searcher of Hearts.

ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਲਿ ਦਿਖਾਲਿਆ ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਸਦ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੨॥

guri pūrai hari nāli dikhāliā hau satigur viṭhu sad vāriā jīu ॥2॥

गुरि पूरै हरि नालि दिखालिआ हउ सतिगुर विटहु सद वारिआ जीउ ॥२॥

The Perfect Guru has shown me that the Lord is always with me. I am forever a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||2||

ਏਕੋ ਪਵਣੁ ਮਾਟੀ ਸਭ ਏਕਾ ਸਭ ਏਕਾ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਬਾਈਆ ॥

ēkō pavṇu māṭī sabh ēkā sabh ēkā jōti sabāīā ॥

एको पवणु माटी सभ एका सभ एका जोति सबाईआ ॥

There is only one breath; all are made of the same clay; the light within all is the same.

ਸਭ ਇਕਾ ਜੋਤਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਭਿਨਿ ਭਿਨਿ ਨ ਰਲਈ ਕਿਸੈ ਦੀ ਰਲਾਈਆ ॥

sabh ikā jōti vartai bhini bhini na ralaī kisai dī ralāīā ॥

सभ इका जोति वरतै भिनि भिनि न रलई किसै दी रलाईआ ॥

The One Light pervades all the many and various beings. This Light intermingles with them, but it is not diluted or obscured.

ਗੁਰ ਪਰਸਾਦੀ ਇਕੁ ਨਦਰੀ ਆਇਆ ਹਉ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਤਾਇਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੩॥

gur parsādī iku nadrī āiā hau satigur viṭhu vatāiā jīu ॥3॥

गुर परसादी इकु नदरी आइआ हउ सतिगुर विटहु वताइआ जीउ ॥३॥

By Guru's Grace, I have come to see the One. I am a sacrifice to the True Guru. ||3||

ਜਨੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਬੋਲੈ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਬਾਣੀ ॥

janu nānku bōlai ammrit bāṇī ॥

जनु नानकु बोलै अंम्रित बाणी ॥

Servant Nanak speaks the Ambrosial Bani of the Word.

ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾਂ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪਿਆਰੀ ਭਾਣੀ ॥

gursikhāṃ kai mani piārī bhāṇī ॥

गुरसिखां कै मनि पिआरी भाणी ॥

It is dear and pleasing to the minds of the GurSikhs.

ਉਪਦੇਸੁ ਕਰੇ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਉਪਕਾਰੀਆ ਜੀਉ ॥੪॥੭॥

updēsu karē guru satiguru pūrā guru satiguru parupkārīā jīu ॥4॥7॥

उपदेसु करे गुरु सतिगुरु पूरा गुरु सतिगुरु परउपकारीआ जीउ ॥४॥७॥

The Guru, the Perfect True Guru, shares the Teachings. The Guru, the True Guru, is Generous to all. ||4||7||

sat chaupdē mahlē chauthē kē ॥
